Desenhos Efémeros documents the performative activity of visual artist António Jorge Gonçalves.
Between 2003 and 2017, António Jorge Gonçalves created and participated in a series of shows and events, as the author of real-time digital drawing, either solo or in dialogue with partners as diverse as pianists Bernardo Sassetti and Filipe Raposo, the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, and choreographer Amélia Bentes, among others. Richly illustrated with photographs from the performances, this work also includes texts by Nuno Artur Silva, Carlos Pimenta, Pedro Moura, Rui Eduardo Paes, and an interview conducted by Anabela Mota Ribeiro.
