Black Truth Rhythm Band – Ifetayo Love Excells All

Black Truth Rhythm Band was a band from Trinidad and Tobago, active in the 1970s, known for blending African rhythms with funk, jazz, calypso, and soul.

Their sole album, Ifetayo, was released in 1976. Led by Oluko Imo, the band stood out by embracing African influences, adopting African names and wearing traditional clothing, setting them apart from other Caribbean bands of the time. The album was remastered and reissued in 2024 by Soundway Records, including the additional track "Imo."
