For nearly a year, I gathered this collection of writings and poems in a journal—works that accompanied my state of mind through a visceral process during those times. In it, I captured every episode, crisis, outpouring of emotion, and revelation...

The creative process was a true collaboration with Amike, who lovingly created images to accompany each poem, each feeling, and each moment of raw pain. Together, we crafted a blend of text and imagery designed to transport you back to the very moment these words were written.

This is simply a window into my mind and heart—spaces that, often against my will, had remained closed off. We live in a society where stigma remains immense, making it difficult to discuss certain topics outside the privacy of one’s own "cave." That is why I invite those of you unfamiliar with madness to see it from a different perspective—one that is less academic and more visceral. Perhaps, in doing so, you might understand—or even see yourselves reflected in—many of the feelings, anxieties, and desires that have touched us all at some point in our lives.

In this little book, we have tried to use accessible language to make reading as easy as possible; you will find definitions and further clarifications in the "Notes" section.
