During the summer holidays of 2024, Isabel Lopes, an investigative journalist scarred by the pain of loss, takes refuge on an isolated farm in the Portuguese countryside, determined to escape the world and find some sense of redemption. However, the peace proves short-lived.

The tranquility is shattered when, on a foggy dawn, she discovers a body in an olive grove. Her professional instincts awaken, and gradually, clues emerge about a network of dubious interests linked to a lithium mine that threatens the region and its inhabitants.

While investigating, Isabel confronts devastating revelations about her own past.

In a village where everyone knows each other and no one speaks, an inexplicable hit-and-run, a new homicide, and a mysterious group of women thicken the atmosphere of fear and suspicion.

Facing personal traumas and demons, the journalist finds herself torn between justice and revenge, on an increasingly tenuous threshold between reason and impulse. Because what truly drives events has always been beyond everyone's reach.
