Franz Kafka - Os Filhos - três histórias
15.50€
Written in 1912, the text "The Transformation," which tells the story of the transformation of Gregor Samsa, a traveling salesman, into a "monstrous insect," has nothing to do with either Ovidian "metamorphoses" or fairy tales. On the contrary, the story unfolds in a typically petit-bourgeois family and social environment of an early 20th-century Central European city and constitutes an accusatory indictment directed against the figure of the father, as is the case with "The Judgment" and "The Stoker." The three novellas form a trilogy that Kafka intended to publish under the title "The Children," an idea that did not materialize.
