HELP(2) is a large-scale collaborative album inspired by the landmark 1995 release HELP, uniting artists and audiences in support of War Child Records and its work protecting, educating and providing specialist mental health support to children living through conflict.
Recorded predominantly at Abbey Road Studios and produced by James Ford, the project brings together an exceptional cross-section of contemporary music, spanning rock, pop and alternative. Contributors include Arctic Monkeys, Beth Gibbons, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Pulp, Olivia Rodrigo, Fontaines D.C., Sampha, Wet Leg, Young Fathers, and many more, reflecting a shared commitment to using music as a force for collective action. The album follows in the footsteps of the original HELP, which was recorded in a single day and raised over £1.2 million for children affected by the Bosnian conflict, earning widespread critical acclaim. HELP(2) carries that same sense of urgency, responding to the reality that millions of children worldwide continue to grow up amid war. Renowned filmmaker Jonathan Glazer led the project’s creative direction, overseeing its visual and film identity with the support of Academy Films. All proceeds from HELP(2) directly support War Child Records, reinforcing a simple message at the heart of the project: no child should be part of war. Ever.
