SP1713 Eternity’s Pillars b/w Raise the Chalice & Reverential is a maxi single marking the legendary sunn O)))’s debut on the Sub Pop label.

It features three completely new tracks, created and performed by the iconic duo Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson, and co-produced by sunn O))) and Brad Wood. These 12" tracks are the first official studio recordings by sunn O))) to feature only the original duo, immersed in heavily saturated electric guitars and dense synth textures. sunn O))) devoted extreme care to every step and detail of the recording process: every tone and saturation level, every gain stage and amplifier, every arrangement and harmonic. The Pacific Northwest forest was their guide. The cover photo captures the duo in the woods northeast of Seattle, through the lens of the equally iconic Charles Peterson.
