Pixies – Bossanova (Remastered)

Originally released in 1990, the Pixies' third studio album explores a more atmospheric side, bringing their alternative rock closer to surf rock and space rock.

Produced by Gil Norton, it includes 14 tracks, among them "cecilia ann," "velouria," "allison," "ana," "dig for fire," "the happening," and "havalina." "cecilia ann," a cover of a Surftones track, was the first cover included on a Pixies album, while "velouria" and "dig for fire" became some of their most recognizable songs. This remastered edition, released in 2026, features a new remastering by Kevin Vanbergen, made from the original analog tapes.
