Rivers have always been an inspiration for Homem em Catarse, and Cuiabá was the first of them all; ten years later, the first album is celebrated with a new, fresh, and danceable version of Mergulho no Cávado, which will be followed by a vinyl reissue of Guarda-Rios. Short but special, Guarda-Rios catapulted Homem em Catarse onto the road and onto an ever-increasing trajectory, very much a part of new Portuguese music of the last decade.
