पर्वत (The Mountain) is the ninth studio album by Gorillaz and represents a new creative chapter for the project led by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, blending the band’s signature mix of electronic, hip-hop and pop with strong influences from global music and Indian-inspired instrumentation.

Recorded between the United Kingdom, India and several other locations around the world, the album features songs performed in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish and Yoruba, reflecting its international scope. The record includes a wide range of guest appearances from artists such as Anoushka Shankar, Black Thought, Johnny Marr, Yasiin Bey, Omar Souleyman, Trueno, Jalen Ngonda, Asha Bhosle and the band IDLES, alongside contributions from Paul Simonon and other musicians. The album also features posthumous appearances from figures connected to the Gorillaz universe, including Tony Allen, Dennis Hopper, Mark E. Smith, Proof and David Jolicoeur of De La Soul, resulting in an ambitious and cinematic record that connects different musical cultures and generations.
