Cindytalk - Camouflage Heart (Indies)

Dais Records reissues the seminal debut album by Cindytalk, in collaboration with Cinder (formerly Cindy Sharp), restoring its original 1984 artwork and expanding it with a new design.

Camouflage Heart is mercurial and expressionist, blending UK post-punk with early European industrial. It is a work that deals with themes of opportunity and transformation in a collage of noise, ballads, scores, catharsis, and improvisation. With a contemporary perspective, we can see that the project expressed transgender ideas through visceral, guttural, feral music, on the fringes of punk.
