The Privilege Of Making The Wrong Choice is the debut album by Porto-based band ZEN, originally released in 1998 and later reissued on CD and vinyl.

Recorded at Areamaster studios in Vigo and mastered in New York by Andy VanDette, the album became a defining statement within the Portuguese alternative rock scene of the late 1990s. Across twelve tracks, the band forges a distinctive sound that blends raw energy and rhythmic drive with more melodic and introspective moments.
