Various – Cover de Bruxelas Sessions - Volume 1

Cover de Bruxelas Sessions – Volume 1 is a cover compilation released in 2021 to mark the 25th anniversary of the radio show Cover de Bruxelas on Rádio Universidade de Coimbra.

Each participating act recorded three interpretations of songs by artists such as Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Smiths, The Cramps, Bauhaus or José Mário Branco. The release features Portuguese and UK artists including D3O, Birds Are Indie, Dirty Coal Train and Catenary Wires. The result is a tribute to the cover format and to musical experimentation, bridging tradition and a contemporary spirit in a project that appeals to both devoted listeners and newcomers to the scene.
