Sandmind - 13 Pragas Infernais

Sandmind, a Portuguese band formed in 2022, are set to release their debut album, 13 Pragas Infernais, on April 13, 2026 via Firecum Records.

Rooted in heavy/groove metal, the band stands out for blending classic riff-driven songwriting with aggressive vocals, memorable hooks, and a strong atmospheric component. Sung entirely in Portuguese, the album follows a narrative concept inspired by Ancient Egypt, taking the listener on an intense journey across 13 tracks that evoke gods, curses, and ancient mythology. Throughout the record, the band builds a distinct identity, balancing the weight of traditional metal with contemporary influences and a cohesive conceptual approach.
