Madmess – Rebirth

An intense journey through psychedelic rock, stoner rock and space-rock soundscapes, driven by heavy riffs, effect-laden guitars and hypnotic rhythms.

Hailing from Porto, the trio Madmess craft a powerful, expansive sound that shifts between atmospheric passages, extended improvisations and bursts of distortion, drawing on the psychedelic rock of the 1970s and the raw energy of alternative rock. “Albatross” sets the scene with a gradual build-up and immersive guitar solos, while “Mind Collapse” combines weighty riffs with darker melodies. “Shape Shifter” stands out for its shifting tempos and psychedelic explorations, while “Stargazer” brings the journey to a close with a more dynamic, space-inspired approach. Comprising five extended, predominantly instrumental tracks, this release draws the listener into a dense, free-flowing and immersive sonic universe, making it an excellent choice for fans of psychedelic rock, stoner and adventurous alternative sounds.
