Isolamento Voluntário? is an EP conceived as a creative diary during the pandemic, where Daniel Catarino—an Alentejo-born singer-songwriter based in Porto—turns fears, bureaucracy, political anxieties, and emotional confusion into urgent, empathetic songs.

The work blends indie rock, psychedelia, and protest music, featuring contributions from Nuno Markl, Inês Barbosa, Pedro Pestana, João Baião, Joel Fausto, Xinês, Rapaz Improvisado, and Eddie Santos, adding depth and variety to its sound. Recorded and produced amid lockdown, the EP stands as a poetic chronicle of a disorienting time, navigating the tension between sanity and chaos, urgency and hope.
