Damien Jurado – I Break Chairs

Released in 2002, this album marked a new stage in Damien Jurado’s career, bringing his intimate songwriting into a broader and more electric sound.

Blending elements of indie rock, folk and alternative pop, the songs combine engaging melodies with a melancholic atmosphere and particularly expressive vocals. A representative release of the American songwriter’s artistic evolution and the indie scene of the early 2000s.
