Vários - Vidas na Raia

Lives on the Border is a study about the social field of prostitution in the border areas of Northern Portugal (Minho, Trás-os-Montes and Beira Interior), throughout which, contextualizing the spaces, it reflects on the origins, trajectories and life expectations, as well as on the reasons for the entry and permanence of women who work in prostitution. Special attention was given to the analysis of the various facets of their daily lives and some reflections on the social actors involved (clients and brothel owners).
