The final volume that completes and shapes the universe of "One Thousand and One Nights"
The third volume arose from the realization of the need to fill gaps in the translation of the oldest manuscripts: the final story that is incomplete; the stories that are mentioned but not included; or simply other stories from sources that clarify points that are imprecise or confusing in the oldest manuscripts.

Using manuscripts from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, as well as other collections of stories contemporary to One Thousand and One Nights, the translator Hugo Maia also adds endnotes to the translation, in order to frame the entire tradition of a text that has enchanted generations.
