Rita Nabais e Joana Raimundo - A História do Rock

The History of Rock (for fanatic parents and punk-loving kids) presents the main figures of the greatest artistic movement of the last 70 years: Rock!

How did the main trends emerge? Who are the most influential bands? What makes a rock star?

Rita Nabais collected and Joana Raimundo illustrated the main bands and musicians, producing the first book of its kind published in Portugal and one of the most complete of all time.

In a work that bridges the gap between the culture of parents and the language of children, there are detailed descriptions, biographical information, and curiosities about bands and musicians as different as the Beach Boys or Metallica, U2 or Sonic Youth, Elvis Presley or Nirvana.

The History of Rock (for fanatic parents and punk-loving kids) leaves no stone unturned, no matter how heavy!
