Oscar Wilde - O Menino-Estrela

Two lumberjacks are returning home from work in the forest on a cold winter night when they see a shooting star. As they approach the willow tree where the star fell, they come across a child wrapped in a golden cloak, adorned with stars. One of them takes the child home, where he grows up: a vain and cruel boy.

What difficulties will this boy have to face until he finds the true meaning of humility, respect for others, and love for others?
