This Mesinha de Cabeceira comes with a CD packed with sonic sweetness, featuring the bands Sindicato do Punk, Entre Outros, and TINNITRUS—groups that sprang straight out of the comics themselves. It's a tradition in Portugal that's hard to ignore when you think of the Garina Sem Vagina from the annoying Superfuzz series (2004), and the recent Podre and Freiras Monomamárias from the hilarious zine Olho do Cu.

Printed on yellow paper, the 44 A5-sized pages mark the return of our familiar characters Danny and Arby, along with their friends Cassie and Buddy, who hop on a train headed for the “Metropolis.” They’re off to see the debut concert of Sindicato do Punk, the band of Bobi, a friend of the duo. The group has already gained some traction with their debut EP, so the venue is packed with fans eagerly awaiting the live debut of the new national punk sensation. The concert is absolute chaos—complete with vibrators, confetti, spilled beers, and lots and lots of mosh. But Sindicato do Punk is only the opening act for TINNITRUS, a local extreme noise band that destroys eardrums and PAs wherever they go.
