Not infrequently
a blank sheet of paper flies
in the abandonment it carries.
A page without content
carrying breath
in the immeasurable attempt
to see within.
If something sustains it, it retains
soon a gust of air
gives it back its breath, if at all
and so the blank sheet continues
in search of the enchantment
of wonder.

So as not to forget where I place my senses

I record so that tomorrow I don't forget
where I place my senses.
Yet
so often I doubt if what I recorded
was what blossomed.
Right,
right, only the General Ledger
itself needs to be reversed
if what it shows
is not what it should be.
What we experience is an accumulation of double-entry books
that close themselves
without the possibility of redoing
of reversing
without a final closure.
