This book is solely about Angola.

In a single volume, the author's writings about two periods of his life spent in Angola are brought together: 1968-1970 and 1973-1975. The previously published books can be read in their entirety: Young Johnny, Lisbon and Luanda 1968-1970 and Johnny Man, Lisbon/Porto – Luanda – London 1970-1975.

As an extra text, this volume also contains the catalog of the author's Angolan Library, made public on the occasion of the signing of a Contract/Protocol for its donation to the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (FLUL), also signed by the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), for the purposes already described on the back cover blurb.

The reader's attention is drawn to the Introduction to the ANGOLAN LIBRARY CATALOGUE, by Dr. Paulo dos Anjos Gonçalves, Archivist and Librarian, who carried out a work of excellence and great professionalism in its preparation.
