Two villages in one story.
Two villages and one name in common: Luz.
The old Luz disappeared, submerged by the waters of the dam.
The new Luz welcomes the old (and new) inhabitants and a museum full of stories.
Inside the museum there is a window, a small rectangular window.
If we look through it, we quickly arrive at the site of the old village:
“It was there, where that umbrella pine is, can you see it?”
The pine tree has been there for decades and has witnessed everything: the life of the old Luz, the arrival of the machines, the move to the new village, the rising waters.
