Um Feminismo Decolonial​ exposes the work of millions of racialized women who make daily life in neoliberal society possible: cleaning staff, domestic workers, day laborers.

A vast, poorly paid workforce, considered to be of low skill; these women often work part-time, in the early hours of the morning or at night, exposed to toxic products and heavy loads. Invisible, they see the violence and disregard for their precarious lives and worn bodies, marked by race and gender, being legitimized. This clearly reveals the colonial and enslaving past of Western society. Françoise Vergès exposes this normalized oppression that combines racial capitalism and challenges us to fight it, setting the conditions for a truly political and emancipatory feminism.
